In the long journey of life, opportunities never come out of thin air. They are like treasures buried deep underground, which require us to dig and strive for them with our own efforts. It can be said that opportunities are truly earned by people through their own efforts.
I once participated in the internal auditor training course. During that period, I was fully engaged and didn't let go of any learning details. I listened attentively to every class, carefully recorded every knowledge point explained by the teacher, and repeatedly studied relevant materials after class, striving to integrate the knowledge. After some hard work, I successfully obtained the internal auditor certificate. I thought this certificate would be the key to open up new opportunities for me and enable me to showcase my skills in the company's internal audit work. However, reality gave me a heavy blow. When the company organized the internal audit, my name was not on the list. At that moment, the emotions of disappointment and depression flooded over me like a tide. All my expectations vanished into thin air in an instant. I couldn't understand why, although I clearly had the corresponding abilities and qualifications, I couldn't get such a practical opportunity.
Immediately afterwards, the company underwent a tripartite audit. For everyone who is eager to learn and grow, this is an excellent opportunity. Learning up close with the audit teachers is like standing on the shoulders of giants, allowing us to access more professional and cutting - edge knowledge and experience. I was full of longing to participate, imagining myself following the audit teachers and learning their rigorous work attitude and professional audit methods. However, fate always seems to play tricks on people. This precious learning opportunity slipped through my fingers once again. When I learned this news, my heart was filled with helplessness and speechlessness. I felt like a child forgotten by fate.
But I didn't sink into depression because of this. I deeply understood that opportunities wouldn't come to me on their own. Only by taking the initiative could I possibly change the current situation. So, I summoned up all my courage and decided to approach the leader to strive for this learning opportunity. I carefully organized my thoughts, sorting out one by one my gains from the training, my enthusiasm for this job, and my determination to learn. After meeting the leader, I sincerely expressed my thoughts and elaborated in detail on the contributions I could make to this audit work. Throughout the communication process, I always maintained a firm belief and tried to move the leader with a sincere attitude.
With unremitting efforts, my perseverance has finally paid off. In the past two days, I have been able to stay by the side of the auditing teacher as I wished. During this process, I have been learning with great eagerness. I carefully observed every auditing step and attentively listened to every conversation with the teacher. Through this period of learning, I have acquired a lot of knowledge and skills that cannot be learned from books, and I have also gained a deeper understanding of the importance and complexity of the auditing work. I know that it was because I bravely fought for it that I won such a precious learning opportunity for myself.
