The new supervisor suggested cutting the OQC positions, and the company decided to explore new career possibilities for employees.

In the process of an enterprise's operation and development, the movement of personnel and the adjustment of positions are quite normal phenomena. Not long ago, the company welcomed a new production supervisor. Time has flown by, and this new supervisor has already been in the position for as long as three months.

In these three months, several abnormal product situations have occurred one after another on the production line. Based on his observation and analysis of these situations, this new supervisor came to a conclusion that he considered quite insightful. He believes that when the OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) position discovers problems during the shipping process, the products have already become non - conforming items. From his perspective, finding problems at this stage has no substantial guiding effect on the improvement of production quality. In his opinion, the control of production quality should focus on the production process, rather than waiting until the products are about to be shipped to discover problems. By then, it's too late, and solving the problems is often just a post - event remedy, making it difficult to fundamentally improve the production quality.

So, at an important meeting, the new supervisor solemnly put forward his own suggestion. He believed that the OQC positions currently set up in the company played a negligible role in actual production, and could even be said to exist in name only. He expounded his views eloquently and strongly advocated dismissing most of the OQC staff, leaving only one person to be responsible for the preparation of relevant documents.

After listening to the suggestions of the new supervisor, the company's leadership made a decision after some thought. The leaders believed that the new supervisor's proposal was somewhat reasonable. After all, from the perspective of cost control and resource optimization, eliminating the redundant OQC positions seemed to be able to save the company a certain amount of expenses. Just like this, the wise leadership of the company agreed to this suggestion and decided to significantly reduce the OQC positions.

Regarding this decision, some people are secretly glad. After all, it means that a group of people can be relieved from this position. In their eyes, the OQC position may come with a lot of pressure and tedium. Now, they have new opportunities to try other jobs and embark on new career journeys. Here, on behalf of those colleagues who are about to be "relieved", I'd like to thank the wise leadership of the company for making this decision, which has given everyone new possibilities.
