One Year in the Workplace: Growth and Transformation
Time flies. Since I stepped into society from school last June, I have joined a private enterprise to start my internship. This enterprise specializes in the R & D and production of special instruments for automobiles and motorcycles. In the blink of an eye, a year has passed in the twinkling of an eye, and I have already accumulated a lot of valuable experience in the company's quality management system and after - sales positions.
When I first joined the company, its quality management system was in a state where theory was seriously divorced from practice. Every second-party audit would expose numerous non-conformities and suggestions. At that time, I knew almost nothing about the system work. However, the continuous challenges of second-party audits in the company became an excellent opportunity for me to understand the company's operation mode. Although there were no significant work achievements at first, with my strong learning ability, I closely followed the auditors' steps and gradually got a clear understanding of the company's entire process from R & D to production and then to after-sales service.
In order to improve my professional proficiency, the company specially arranged for me and my colleagues to go out to participate in the training on TS16949:2009 and the five major reference books. Although the short - term training of just a few days only allowed me to get in touch with a series of theoretical knowledge, it was like opening a door to the world of system management for me, enabling me to deeply realize the importance of the effective operation of the system for the company. After returning to the company with the learning materials given by the training teacher, I actively cooperated with various departments, continuously verified the learned theories in practical work, and gradually built up the basic framework for combining the company's system theory with practice under the guidance of the training teacher. However, I am well aware that it is by no means an overnight effort to truly make the system work perfect, and it cannot be achieved by individual ability alone. This requires the high - level attention of the company's leadership and the full cooperation of all employees.
The work practice of this year is like a profound life baptism, which has brought about earth - shattering changes in many aspects of my life, such as my thinking, learning and daily life.
Thought: Get closer to the organization in the endeavor
At the ideological level, I always maintain a positive and enterprising attitude. My unremitting efforts have enabled me to fulfill an important commitment since I entered college - joining the Communist Party of China. Now, although I'm only a probationary Party member, I've already felt a strong connection with the Party organization. In the days to come, I will strictly demand myself in accordance with the standards of a Party member, continuously learn scientific theoretical knowledge, and be filled with enthusiasm for contributing to society, striving to become a truly qualified Party member.
Learning: The Transition from Passive to Active
In terms of learning methods, I have achieved a transformation from relying on teachers' instruction to self-directed learning. When I was at school, I was used to listening to teachers' lectures. However, after entering the workplace, without teachers' supervision, I learned to independently acquire knowledge in various fields through the Internet during my leisure time. Just like slowly adding colors to a blank piece of paper, my knowledge reserve has gradually become richer. The cultivation of this self-study ability has made me understand that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also a process of self-improvement.
Self-awareness: Discovering oneself in solitude
At work, I found it difficult to find like-minded friends, so I learned to enjoy being alone. During the time of being alone, I reexamined myself, got to know my preferences, living habits and dressing style. At the same time, I clearly recognized my own shortcomings and identified the direction for self-improvement. This deepening of self-awareness has made me more determined to move forward towards the goal of becoming a better version of myself.
Communication: Learn skills during the adjustment period
The improvement of communication skills is one of my important achievements this year. When I first entered the workplace, I made a big mistake in communicating with my leader. I always spoke bluntly without considering my leader's feelings, which put a great deal of pressure on the leader. The leader had several conversations with me and pointed out this problem. After reflection and practice, I gradually learned to listen more and do more when communicating with the leader, and only express my opinions and suggestions when the leader needed me to speak. Even if there were some inappropriate points in the leader's views, I would choose an appropriate way to communicate privately. This change made me deeply realize that in the workplace, one should learn to adapt to social rules and handle interpersonal relationships flexibly.
Looking ahead, continuous learning and thinking will be my lifelong pursuit. At present, I have two clear goals: I. Strive to become a qualified member of the Communist Party of China at an early date and contribute my own strength to the cause of the Party and the people; II. Obtain the Quality Engineer Certificate within two or three years to enhance my competitiveness in the workplace. I firmly believe that as long as I make unremitting efforts, I will surely find a development path suitable for myself and realize my life value.
